After nearly 80 days in hospital, from the point of death to a long journey to recovery she finally got home, however her life forever changed. Angelica, after a half-year of dialysis, and one year half-year of dialysis, was now set to undergo the biggest surgery of all: the replacement of her kidney. Her mother was the sole person who was able to donate a kidney. Angelica, along with her mother, went through a successfully kidney transplantation on September 13th 2013 in two amazing hospitals that were located right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's dream to be an international star has not waned.
